private training

In our 1 on 1 Private training we invest the time to assess your areas of strength and areas of development. Our first step to effective 1 on 1 training begins with a thorough evaluation by which we inspect your throwing mechanics from Head to Toe.

Our Philosophy is to build you from the ground up. Our attention to detail approach is where we spend the appropriate time to discover where we will focus improving and how we will engineer our customized plan for your optimal results. We are careful to take the necessary time to establish the proper building blocks so that we can continuously reinforce our key points of emphasis, while appreciating the individual unique abilities of each Quarterback. We will record your sessions so that we have the proper comprehensive data to analyze and provide timely feedback to you so that application can be made immediately.

We are intentional about building a strong relationship with each individual and establishing trust, so that we fully understand each athlete mentally, physically, and emotionally. It is with this recipe, that we have been able to lead QB’s down the path of self-reflect which enables a QB of any age to go down the path of self-discovery and self-correct. When the muscle memory takes semi-permanent form, we then recommend the Semi-Private Training atmosphere. This process is Empowering.

Semi-Private Training

Semi-Private training is our most attended program. Semi-private allows the Trainer to establish an environment that is a hybrid of 1on1 training with the competitive excellence aspect to training, that is commonly forfeited in Private 1 on 1 training. There is just something about training in a group of 2-6 individuals that make the energy in the environment feel electric and its force has a positive impact. We are cognitive of each athlete’s skill-set which is the importance of an in-depth evaluation so that we may assure each athlete is properly paired in their group. Our commitment to is provide an element of competition while maintaining an intense level of focus on detail, strategic progression, and drill sequencing. We create that “Juice” in the MATRIX through this process. Simply put, our culture and our environment, will promote growth and development. Where Irons sharpens Iron! We realize that environment has more to do with growth than anything in the world. Hence that is why the creator, always creates the environment, prior to the creation.

Small Group Training

Our Small group training is our “Tune-Up” training. This environment is designed to restore skills and mechanics that often get compromised during the season due to competition(s), offensive systems, and/or just lack of repetition and attention to details. In small group, you will find yourself going back to the fundamentals that we often lose when we are not training with an expert. This is where refinement happens. We refocus on passing with varying trajectory, touch, arc & pace, deep game, short game, and footwork. Proper Arm-Care is reintroduced, and band work is encouraged. Ball placement and Passing mechanics get overemphasized. This group is continually active in providing feedback to one another so that multiple perspectives can be expressed and heard. Peer feedback is highly encouraged.

WR/te Training

We are aware of the need for QB’s and Pass catchers to have a great deal of camaraderie, timing, verbal and non-verbal communication and we are proud to provide an expanded position-specific training program. Now we are able to guarantee to give young pass catchers a well-rounded education that touches on every important aspect of receiving the ball, from stance & starts, route-release, route tempo, approach & control, route-stacking, route-stemming and sticking routes. You can expect a small group training format of 4-6 receivers that is not only competitive but contains a teachable environment with individualized camp-like instruction.

WR/TE Receiver training is held year-round in conjunction with MATRIX QB training and scheduled through your MATRIX QB Coach.
